Juhfark Hungary’s heritage grape is synonymous with Somló. Over half of the 150 ha region’s vines grow on volcanic basalt. Hand-harvested, whole-cluster pressed, fermented and aged mostly in steel, with 6 % in older 500 L barrels. Lively, with great balance and structure varietal character of pear and citrus, marked vitality and a firm mineral streak.
